During COVID-19, sales professionals are not immune to the mental health and stress affecting society. This, together with the business challenges they face, will impact their state of mind and performance, and this leads to pessimism.

Pessimistic sellers are less hopeful, resilient, and happy in their work and in themselves. As such, they are less likely to take action or solve problems and are more likely to give up - exactly the opposite of what is needed right now.
