RS Components wins sales ethics accolade

The Association of Professional Sales is delighted to congratulate RS Components for being the first in their industry to be awarded our prestigious Investor in Sales award.

RS Components (RS), the trading brand of Electrocomponents plc (LSE:ECM), a global multi-channel distributor, received the special award after more than 80 of their sales personnel successfully completed an exam in sales ethics to gain professional status.

RS joined the Association of Professional Sales (APS) as part of their campaign to develop a best-in-class salesforce and build strong, sustainable relationships with their customers.

Peter Malpas, Managing Director, Northern Europe at RS, said: “We have invested significantly in this exciting programme of learning and development with the APS – a journey to becoming first choice for our customers and demonstrating the importance of having a professional and ethical sales force.

“The Code of Ethics Exam is an assessment designed to test how sales professionals interact directly and indirectly with customers. This is an important factor for RS sales professionals in differentiating ourselves in the marketplace, and we are delighted to have achieved the APS Investors in Sales Award in recognition of this commitment.”
